The original version of Throne is by far one of my favorite tracks period. I really tapped into a beautiful flow state with this one. Fenix made sure my vocals soared over this beat in the most crystalized way. About a year later I had started to host events for some friends, most of which were communities based almost entirely on Chicago House & Juke music. As a queer Englewood native, there is absolutely no way I don’t bleed house music. Its in my Southside Coded DNA. So we flipped Throne into a heavy hitting house track. Who else feels this bass in their knees, thats what drives the art of body movement!
